TOWN OF EADS ESTABLISHING TEMPORARY TRASH COLLECTION POINT

   (EADS, COLORADO) Due to the recent snow storms and subsequent alley blockages, the Town of Eads will be establishing a temporary trash collection point on Maine Street.
   The Town has contracted with Collectia, Inc. to temporarily place a large roll-off trash container on the west side of Maine Street near the corner of 12th Street across from the Post Office. The container is expected to arrive Tuesday, January 9. All residents are being asked to use this container rather than the alley trash containers until further notice.
   Town crews will be working to clear alley access as quickly as possible, however the container is expected to be in place for up to two weeks.
   Monday, town crews made some progress in emptying trash containers in the business district, however further trash collection efforts will be hindered due to snow accumulations, with drifts in some alleys as high as 10 feet.
